No... No me he olvidado del blog, digamos que han sido dos meses muy ajetreados. Y ahora os escribo nada más y nada menos que desde la bellísima capital finlandesa: Helsinki. Estaré por aquí cuatro mesecitos, haciendo un proyecto de laboratorio en la universidad. La verdad es que estoy encantada, cada día me gusta más esta ciudad, este país.

Evidentemente ya me he dado alguna que otra vuelta por las farmacias finlandesas y he comprobado que no tienen nada que ver con las españolas. ¿Sabéis como se dice farmacia en finés? Apteekki.

Hay una cadena de farmacias muy típica de aquí: Yliopiston Apteekki. Tiene farmacias repartidas por toda la ciudad.

La farmacia a simple vista recuerda a un supermercado. Suelen ser bastante grandes, más o menos tres o cuatro veces mayores que las nuestras.

La zona de dispensación está totalmente separada. Tiene muchos mostradores, independientes unos de otros y en cada uno de ellos te atiende un farmacéutico. Para evitar colas tienes que coger número (sí, como en la pescadería) y aparece en la pantalla cuando es tu turno. Así, mientras te puedes dar una vueltecita por la farmacia y oye, a lo mejor picas algo. Estos finlandeses son muy cuadriculados y organizados pero también tienen su visión comercial.

Finnish people are very square but they have a commercial vision too.

Ciertos medicamentos puedes encontrarlos fuera de la zona de dispensación, no necesitan receta médica y el consumidor los puede coger de su propia mano. No estoy muy de acuerdo en este aspecto, creo que se pierde la atención farmacéutica y muchas veces no se tiene el criterio suficiente para elegir una medicación. Eso sí, puedes pedir opinión al farmacéutico, siempre hay alguno rondando que te pregunta si necesitas ayuda en finés y tú le dices: ¿eing?
You can find some medicines out of the dispensary, they don’t need prescription and you can take them by yourself. I don’t really agree with that, I think in this way pharmaceutical aid is lost and usually you don’t have the right judgement in order to choose medecines. Of course, you can ask for help to a pharmacist, there is always one around you that asks if you need help in finnish and you say: eing?
La zona de parafarmacia, dietéticos, infantil... suele estar repartida por toda la farmacia. Hay grandes estanterías con letreros para separar las distintas secciones. Me llamó mucho la atención que en la parafarmacia, en lugar de distribuir los productos por los laboratorios (VICHY, LaRochePosay, Avène...) está organizada según las necesidades. Por ejemplo, pieles jóvenes, sensibles, cuidados antiedad... Y en cada una de ellas encuentras los productos específicos de distintos laboratorios. Es curioso.
Cosmetics, dietetics, children’stuff… are distributed troughout the pharmacy. There are big shelves with labels to separate the different sections. It caught my attention the fact they organize the cosmetics depending on the need instead of the brands (VICHY, LaRochePosay, Avène…). For instance, young skins, sensitive skins, antiage… In everyone of them you find the products from the different brands. It’s curious.

Por último tienes las cajas, exactamente iguales a las de un supermercado, donde pagas todo lo que has metido en las cesta de compra.
